Graduates of 1950 – 55 years Reunion - 2005

 

A Reunion Dinner to celebrate 55 years from Graduation was held at Fownes Hotel, Worcester on Saturday 30th September 2005.

 

31 members of the Year attended accompanied by 14 Spouses. Apologies were received from several other members who were not able to attend due to prearranged holidays or who were resident overseas.

 

The Graduates of 1950 have held Reunion Dinners to celebrate 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 (arranged by the Faculty), 35, 40, 45, 50 and 52/53 years (everyone is getting older!!) from qualification. Is this a record for Graduates Anniversary Dinners for any one Year? It is proposed to reconvene to mark the 57/58th anniversary.

 

The honorary organisers (Fraser Dukes, telephone 01902 342800 and John White, telephone 01902 893082) will be pleased to hear from any other members of the Year, with whom contact has been lost, who might be interested in attending the next occasion in 2007/8.
